We often get questions about our trial month. To clear up any confusion from the start and give you an overall good feeling about Home Music teachers’ music education, we would like to answer the most frequently asked questions here. This will make your musical introduction all the easier. After all, you want to play an instrument and not waste your time on bureaucratic details:
How many hours are in the trial month?
During our trial month, all students and those interested in the music school receive a minimum of three to a maximum of five lessons on their chosen or desired instrument. Depending on your needs, lessons can last between 30 and 45 minutes.
How are the hours determined?
What should I do if the instrument I want is not offered?
If the instrument you want is not offered at your location, please feel free to contact us anyway. We have a huge network and many established contacts with qualified music teachers. Your request may be the decisive impetus to teach your particular instrument at your location in the future. We will most likely find a solution for you.
Is the trial month free?
You are not contractually bound, but the trial month is not free. The teachers drive to your home, schedule time and perform their duties. In other words, lessons are taught, with a corresponding investment of time and money for the teachers. Costs are normally billed and paid by the students or future contract partners.
How much does the trial month cost?
During the trial month, only teacher’s classes will be charged. This is based on an individual hourly rate, which in turn is calculated based on the usual monthly flat rate. The agreed duration of the lesson unit is also taken into account. Depending on the location and duration, a teaching unit is calculated as follows:
Monthly flat rate: 4 = individual hourly rate
What happens when the teacher is late?
All Home-Music-Teachers teachers strive to keep appointments punctually and on time. But at the end of the day, teachers are only human and may, for example, get stuck in traffic or be delayed by other unexpected events. However, if this happens, the instructor will contact you as soon as possible.In the case of minor delays, has option to postpone the class for a few minutes. If this is not possible, a catch-up appointment is easily arranged.
What happens if I miss the appointment myself?
Should anything come up, please contact the teacher or the main office at your location as soon as possible so we can work together to find a solution. If you do not cancel in time and the Home Music Teachers instructor, uninformed, is at your door, we will have to bill you for the lesson.
